The flick tells the story of Nina Hartley and Mike Horner, a married couple whose dreams of infidelity threaten to drive them apart. It seems that Nina's some sort of overworked exec who spends most of her time on business trips. Meanwhile, Mike is a writer who stays at home and wonders whether she's dabbling in any extramarital shenanigans while she's away. He tells his troubles to his psychiatrist Siobhan Hunter, but can't seem to shake his disturbing dreams of cheating. Mike's pal Joey Silvera tells him about another writer who exorcised his demons by turning his fears into fiction. We then watch a series of blistering sex scenes dreamed up by Horner, including a ravenous Gayle Sterling/John O'Keefe coupling in a barroom. Silvera gets in on the fantasy fun with Hunter in a steamy session, while Nina takes on a well-built stud in a naughty nightclub. In reality, Mike then turns to a luscious hooker (Shanna McCullough) who soothes his nerves with some scorching sizzle. When Nina comes home from her trip, it's as if she's never been away!
